Essential Qualification:(i) Master's Degree in Library Science/Information Science/ Documentation or equivalent degrees of a foreign /Indian University with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade in a point scale). (ii) A Bachelor's degree in Library Science/Information Science/ Documentation with at l'east 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in point scale). (iii) At least 13 years experience as a Deputy Librarian in the University Library or 18 years experience as College Librarian. (iv) Evidence of innovative Library Service and organization of Published work.
Desired Qualification: M.Phil. / Ph.D. degree in Library Science / Information Science I Documentation / Achieves and manuscript keeping or published research work of an equivalent high standard. (c) A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) developed by RVSKW in the light of UGC Regulations.
Scale of Pay: Rs.37400-67000 + GP-10000
